Caroline Hale may only be in her early twenties, but she’s no newcomer. The San Antonio native picked up a guitar at eight years old and never looked back. At fourteen, sound engineer, musician, and songwriter Martin Strayer—whose credits include artists like Kacey Musgraves, Madonna, The Chicks, and Soundgarden—took her under his wing and introduced her to the craft of songwriting.

Now based in Austin, Hale continued developing her sound with Gordy Quist of The Band of Heathens, who helped bring her songs to life in the studio and shape the direction of her debut album, BFF.

Her music blends pop songwriting with country and folk influences, leaning into a twang-pop sensibility built around strong melodies, pedal steel, and organic instrumentation. Recent singles “Kick It”, “Blame You”, and “Cloud 9” showcase that mix while expanding the sonic world of BFF.

With years of songwriting, mentorship, and stage experience behind her, Hale continues to build a catalog defined by honest lyrics, memorable hooks, and a sound that feels distinctly her own.
