Desire is the Montreal-born synth-pop group created by vocalist Megan Louise and producer/composer Johnny Jewel. Since emerging from the underground in 2008, the band has built a singular universe of neon romance, cinematic longing, and midnight glamour — where heartbreak shimmers beneath disco lights and every song feels like a scene from an unfinished love story.
Their breakthrough anthem “Under Your Spell,” immortalized in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive, became one of the defining songs of the film’s era and introduced Desire’s dreamlike world to audiences across the globe. The band’s influence quickly expanded beyond cinema into fashion and nightlife, with their music echoing through campaigns and runways for Dior, Chanel, Max Mara, and Bottega Veneta, while artists including Kid Cudi famously reimagined their work for “Teleport 2 Me.”
Over the years, Desire have transformed theaters, festivals, and legendary Ibiza nights into immersive experiences suspended somewhere between concert and fever dream. Blending shimmering analog synthesizers, pulse-driven disco, and Megan Louise’s unmistakable voice, the band continue to blur the boundaries between dream-pop, Italo disco, fashion, and noir cinema while working on their fourth album.

Johnny Jewel is a composer, producer, and the visionary founder of Italians Do It Better. As the driving force behind Chromatics, Glass Candy, and Desire, he helped shape a modern language of synth-driven noir that bridges the underground and the silver screen.
His work has illuminated cinema and television alike — Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive and Bronson, Ryan Gosling’s Lost River, Fien Troch’s Home (winner of the Georges Delerue Award), and David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: The Return, where Chromatics’ performance of “Shadow” became an instant touchstone.
Beyond the screen, Jewel has scored runways for Chanel, Dior, and Bottega Veneta, blurring the line between music and fashion. Most recently, his score for Holly (2023) expanded his palette of glacial ambience and luminous melody.
On stage, Jewel transforms these worlds into an immersive live experience — analog synthesizers, projected film, and sweeping soundscapes converge into a dream both intimate and grand, where every performance feels like stepping inside a movie.

MOTHERMARY is the darkly radiant electro-pop project of identical twin sisters Elyse and Larena Winn. Raised in a strict Mormon household in Missoula, Montana, the duo transformed religious repression, shame, and rebellion into a singular world of synth-pop, darkwave, and sacred provocation.
After leaving the church and moving through New York’s underground before relocating to Los Angeles, MOTHERMARY emerged as a fearless act of self-reclamation. Their debut album, I Am Your God, released on Italians Do It Better, introduced a universe where devotion becomes danger, desire becomes power, and pop music is recast as ritual.
Blending 1980s drum machines, cinematic synthesizers, gothic glamour, and twin vocal incantations, Elyse and Larena create music that feels both intimate and mythic — confessionals for the dance floor, hymns for the disillusioned, and anthems for anyone rewriting their own story.
On stage, MOTHERMARY turn performance into ceremony: seductive, confrontational, and cathartic, suspended somewhere between club, church, and fever dream.
