About the headliner…

Jake Velazquez is a New York-based stand-up comedian who opens for Jordan Jensen, including on her debut Netflix special Take Me With You and her recent bus tour. When he’s not touring, Jake performs across New York City, where he was named one of New York’s Funniest in 2024 after being selected as a Comic to Watch in 2023. Last year, he completed his first headlining tour, performing in 15 cities. He’s also been featured at comedy festivals including Skankfest and Rogue Island.

A native New Yorker, Jake only grew to be 5’6″ because of the tiny spaces he was confined to with his five sisters, Puerto Rican father, and Jewish mother. His comedy blends edgy observations with stories that poke fun at his own insecurities and the embarrassing moments that come with living an unconventional life. He has been described by many as “hilarious” and “smaller than expected in person.”

There is a two-beverage minimum in the showroom. No outside drinks, you can bring your own food if you would like.

Doors open 30 minutes prior. Please consider arriving to the club 30 min prior as it helps our show start on time.

Plan extra time for parking! Closest garages are located at 805 S Caroline or 501 S Eden Street. Both are roughly a 4 minute walk from the venue.

Ride share can drop off directly in front of the club at 813 S Broadway.
