The Ransom Brothers are Austin-based Southern country rockers pushing the boundaries of Americana. Fronted by Sean McHargue and Daniel Solis, the full band delivers layered instrumentation, heartfelt storytelling, powerful vocal harmonies, and high-octane energy that scales from intimate venues to festival stages.
Their journey has taken them from local honky-tonks to supporting Whiskey Myers, Drake White, Chase Rice, Band of Heathens, and Southall, steadily building a devoted following across Texas and beyond. With lyrics drawn from personal experiences and everyday life, their music blends outlaw country grit and blues-driven rock, creating a sound that's as rich and diverse as the Texan landscape itself, and connections that fans feel deep in the soul.
With their upcoming full-length album, The Ransom Brothers showcase an evolved sonic identity that bridges country, rock, and Americana with raw emotion and captivating performances. Produced by Gordy Quist (Band of Heathens) and mixed by Grammy-winner Steve Christensen (Khruangbin, Steve Earle), it is sonically bolder than their past work, pairing heartfelt storytelling and a soaring country-rock groove with Austin’s Americana and red dirt roots. This release marks a new chapter for the band and sets the stage for their rise as one of Texas’ most compelling new voices in Southern country rock.
